Dress Better on the Weekend

Dress Better on the Weekend (DBOW) is a digital style hub exclusively created for everyday women living in the Caribbean — and the men who love them. Through relatable and relevant content, we aim to raise the bar on dressing and offer readers a fresh take on personal style that feels both easy and authentic. Everything we share is built around real people, real routines, and real Caribbean life.

DBOW was founded in 2025 by St. Croix native and communications pro Cynthia T. Graham-Johnson, bringing together her professional background in journalism with her personal love for style. Cynthia enjoys window shopping and people watching for style inspiration — whether at the quaint boutiques nestled in the V.I.’s historic towns, in the chic San Juan neighborhood of Condado or strolling through the internet streets.

Founder

Cynthia T. Graham-Johnson

  • To make style feel easy, joyful, culturally relevant, and within reach for Caribbean women navigating everyday life.

  • To be the trusted go-to for Caribbean women seeking style inspiration that feels good, fits real life, and respects their unique way of living.

  • Dressing Well

To us, dressing well isn’t about name brands or chasing trends. It's about showing care in how you present yourself, whether you're washing laundry, heading to worship or for a lime downtown. It's that unspoken pride you have in yourself that speaks volumes everywhere you go.

    Approachability

Style should never feel exclusive, out of reach, or out of touch. No matter your budget or background, our goal is to empower you with ideas, tips, and encouragement that feel honest, approachable, and true to everyday Caribbean life.

    Trustworthiness & Positivity

We offer honest style commentary and well-sourced news you'll be able to use. Our content is positive, aims to inspire, and leaves you with ideas to look and feel your best.

    Care for Community

We revere the culture, community and climate of the Caribbean. Our content reflects the region's life and style with respect and humor, uplifting the people and their style stories without apology.

    Innovation

We embrace new ways of connecting with our readers, from digital tools to meaningful partnerships, all while staying true to our common-sense approach to style.
