DIV. OF FESTIVALS SEEKS CONTESTANTS FOR STX ‘25-‘26 PAGEANTRY

It’s that time of year again in the exciting lead up to the annual St. Croix Crucian Christmas Festival where the glitz and glam of local pageantry has taken center stage.

The USVI Division of Festivals is seeking contestants to participate in the highly anticipated 2025-2026 Miss St. Croix Festival Queen and the Prince & Princess, Duke, Duchess, and Jr. Miss pageants.

According to event organizers, to be eligible to participate in the Miss St. Croix Festival Queen pageant—whose theme this year is “Heritage and History: Creating a Cultural Masterpiece for Miss St. Croix Festival Queen 2025-2026”—interested participants must be between the ages of 18-26.

The application deadline is Thursday, Aug. 21 and a Meet & Greet is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 31. To receive an application packet and for more information, email Pageant Chairperson Essi Gaston-Edwards at missstxpageant@gmail.com.

Rounding out the Queen’s court is the Prince & Princess, Duke, Duchess, and Jr. Miss pageant. According to event organizers, to be eligible to participate in the show, interested participants must be between the ages of 5-7 for Duke & Duchess, ages 8-12 for Prince & Princess, and ages 13-17 for Jr. Miss.
