JUST ANNOUNCED: REGAL DYNASTY ‘THE CULTURAL ESCAPE’ 2026

To the delight of thousands of followers on its social media platforms, Regal Dynasty, Inc., released a flyer on July 22 teasing its upcoming 2026 Festival season on St. Croix.

Dubbed “The Cultural Escape,” this year the troupe invites fettas to “experience the vibrant spirit of the U.S. Virgin Islands where heritage, rhythm, and tradition unite into a cultural journey like no other.”

In a detailed Facebook post, organizers encourage would-be troupe participants to be “captivated by the towering Mocko Jumbies, guardians of folklore and celebration. Move to the infectious rhythms of the steel pan, echoing the island’s Caribbean heartbeat or the consciousness of reggae music, a soundtrack of truth, solidarity, and resistance.”

“Dance around the colorful maypole, a joyful symbol of unity and festivity. Honor the fierce legacy of the Fireburn, the 1878 rebellion led by brave women who demanded justice and change.
