THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND: 13 STYLISH SHIRTS LT ROCKED!
USVI Lt. Governor Tregenza Roach has a real knack for style.
We’ve been peeping his keen fashion sense for some time, and we’re thrilled that we finally get to write about it on this platform!
One of the things we love is the relaxed, but elevated shirt choices the lieutenant governor wears when he’s on official business that does not necessarily require the formality of a suit and tie. Think carnival and festival celebrations, horseraces, concerts and annual outdoor festivals, community gatherings, and more.
Why LT’s Style Works
Affectionately called LT across the Territory, the lieutenant governor’s style works because it is timeless, classy, and intentional. He’s figured out what works for him, and he wears it well. Not to mention, LT does a great job of playing with bold prints and patterns in fabrics, such as linen and cotton, that are lightweight and cooling for our tropical climate. Fifty years from now, these looks can still be worn. Prints and patterns may change, but his is a tried-and-true style that will pass the test of time.
LT often pairs his signature standout shirts with easy white or khaki-colored linen pants, a pair of stylish sandals, a straw hat, and sunglasses—great pieces that go the distance for that dignified, on-but-off-duty look we love to see Caribbean men wear.
