Who says it doesn’t get cold in the Caribbean?

Those of us who are from (and still live in) the Caribbean know it sometimes gets cold here. When it dips down to the mid-low 70s at night (God forbid lower), we have a serious problem. Not to mention if there’s a little breeze blowing AND temps have dropped from the usual 80 degrees, it’s practically a blizzard outside! Brrrr.
I have been known to turn on the heat in my car, if out and about on St. Croix after a certain time if night and there’s a little chill in the air. Let that sink in.

I’m more of a scarf girl, myself, and tend to have on in my bag on most days, ‘just in case’. And because we live in the Caribbean, fabrics like cotton or linen or cotton/linen blend work well for the climate; stay away from wools and bulky, knitted options to avoid overheating.
